Mr. Richard Jameson MST, MGFE, EA is an IRS Enrolled Agent and has a Master of Science in Taxation from William Howard Taft University. With twenty eight years of tax preparation knowledge he can evaluate complex tax questions and their impact on the client's special tax situation.
Mr. Jameson has also earned the title of Master Graduate of federal Examination that was awarded by the National Tax Practice Institute (the education foundation of the National Association of Enrolled Agents). This is an advanced training course designed to teach IRS Enrolled Agents examination techniques to better represent their clients before the IRS. There have only been eight (MGFE) awarded to Enrolled Agents in the entire country.
Mr. Jameson has over teenty six years experience in client representation before the IRS examinination division. This gives him the unique qualifications to understand the IRS requirements and instructions as needed for examination assistance and defense of the taxpayer within the IRS guidelines as stated in the Internal Revenue Service Audit Techniques Guide.
Mr. Jameson has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Industrial Technology with a double major in Business Administration and Economics from Southern Utah University. Mr. Jameson also has a Master of Science Degree in Social Science, Interdisciplinary Public Administration, with a major in Economics from Utah State University.
Mr. Jameson has over 35 years of business experience in all aspects of business operations. He owned a tax return firm that prepared almost 6,000 personal, business, trust and estate tax returns a year. The firm was also very active in client representation before the Internal Revenue Service for audits, offers in compromise and appeals.
Mr. Jameson has helped many of his firm's clients with business, estate and tax planning analysis and guidance with the intention that they would achieve success in both their personal lives and business enterprises.
Mr. Jameson is currently working on his PHD in Taxation with a projected completion date of early to mid 2016.
